Shape wear has come a very long way since it was first introduced, we believe as far back as ancient times. Used to shape, reinforce and strengthen the body, they were robust and uncomfortable. Girdles were considered essential garments by many women from the 1920s to the 1960s, and today have evolved into sexy slimming under garments, that is often worn in public. Now that Summer is officially over, it's time to get a little more creative with your wardrobe. Let's face it the only thing that anyone really sees besides your coat, are your socks and shoes. My top tip is to 1. wear great shoes and 2. choose and equally fantastic pair of socks.
